There is an error in the question because FDC is a straight line. We're not sure which angle is meant to be found, but in any case, a useful thing to do for such questions is to include the given info (parallel lines, etc) onto the diagram. Given that there are parallel lines, the angle properties that would apply here are (1) sum of interior angles of parallel lines = 180 (2) alternate angles. Another tip -- always use a pencil to mark angles, lines on the diagram so that they can be erased easily if need be.
