How u derived 5/9

Using model method

We have x=org. amount of money, so (x-2/7x-$105)(1-4/9)=1/3x.

Working backwards, we get (1/3x)(9/5)=3/5x. 3/5x+2/7x=31/35x, so $105=4/35x.

x=($105)(35/4)=$918.75
