(12) 1:3 (13) 18% is 3/4 of remainder. So Monday plus remainder is 24% of the books. Therefore 342 is 76%. So total no of books is 450.

Q 12: Bring the 2 corners beside the point, it will form a square.Then separate the remaining area into 3 equal squares.You will see that only 1 square is shaded.The ans is 1:3

Age difference is always the same. 2 units = 24 1 unit = 12 3 units = 36 36 - 10 = 26 years old
