Hi Raymond, can i know how do you conclude to this model

Step 1. Draw the blue bars Step 2. Since 2 blue bars represent 25%, I topped up with 3 yellow bars to make 8 bars in total. The rest should be self explanatory

Hi. You can try the following. Step 1: 40% of the remainder kayaks. This is equivalent to 25% of the class who kayaks. Step 2: 40% of remainder = 25% of class so, 60% of remainder = 37.5% of class 100% of remainder of class = 25% + 37.5% = 62.5% of class Step 3: Since 62.5% of class kayaks and roller blades, 37.5% of class cycles. 15 students cycle. Step 4: Since 37.5% of class cycles and there are 15 students who cycle, 37.5% ---> 15 12.5% ---> 5 100% ---> 5 x 8 = :)

Can anyone kindly advise if this is allowed in schools & in PSLE? I heard different split opinions on this... 😭

My son is using this in school. Did not heard anything that this is not allowed in Psle

Should be allowed in PSLE just that most upper level students no longer use them as they are more capable and efficient in drawing without the ruler compared to lower pri. For schools that don't allow, did the teachers give any reason? Would be good to find out why too..

My son brings his to school. He has never told me not permitted.

It's allowed but try not to use it as it can be inaccurate at times

Possible to find out the reason?

Pupils are allowed to use, just that it "uses" time to draw the "perfect" picture. Upper pri kids can just draw smaller to explain their reasoning/ working fast. Can be bought at Popular.
