I am so sorry Lynn. I had not noticed your request. My most unreserved apology. Ali had 50% more than Emma initially. One could have assigned 3 units to Ali and 2 units to Emma since 150% of 2 units is 3 units. Unfortunately Ali spent $60, which will be an issue when one has to draw a model with $60 removed from 3 units. Since $60 is divisible by 3, I chose to assign 3 units + $60 to Ali for what he had initially. That will mean that Emma started with 2 units + $40. After Ali spent $60, he had exactly 3 units left. After Emma received $20, she was supposed to end with 2 units + $40 + $20 = 2 units + $60 If Ali ended up with 3 units, and 3 units was 75% of what Emma had at the end, Emma should end up with 4 units, wasn't it? So we have 4 units equivalent to 2 units + $60. 2 units must be $60, and 1 unit $30.

$4 had changed hands, so the change in the difference in money between the two lads must be double of $4, ie $8. Jeremy started $5 ahead. If Adam gave Jeremy $4, Jeremy would end up $5 + $8 = $13 more than Adam. Since Jeremy had twice as much as Adam at the journey's end, Adam was left with $13, and Jeremy $26. If Jeremy returns $4 to Adam, Adam will have $17, the amount he began with. After returning Adam $4, Jeremy has $22, the amount he started off with.

After giving Terry 36 cards, Glenn had 156-36= 120 cards left. Glenn had 5 units of cards left, so each unit is 120รท5= 24 cards. Terry ended up with 7 units or 7ร—24 = 168 cards. Since he received 36 from Glenn, Terry must had started off with 132 cards.
