Today's question is actually a very simple one. So simple that there is a chance that our students may be taught a method that could be inappropriate for their age. I strongly recommend using methods that are age appropriate and if there is any doubt against it, please refer to established learning theories for clarification. Also, the argument about limited time in the examination. The aim should NOT be, to teach students the fastest way to solve a question, even if it means them not understanding. Instead, we should spend some time bringing about the understanding then with more practice, bring about the speed in the mechanical processing of the question. It's the weekend and the PSLE oral exams are over. Go take a break! Hope this video helps!
