notice that the number of pieces remained is all 2 less than the number of pieces removed each time. In other words, the number of pieces is 2 less than a common multiple of 3, 4, 5 and 6. LCM ＝ 3×2×2×5 ＝60 Number of pieces＝60-2 ＝58
