Yes Jessilyn. It is perfectly fine. In fact you have made me wonder why I even bothered to bounce the ratio up from 5:9 to 15:27. Duh me lol. Well done.

Thank you for reminding me that I need to check my work carefully before posting! :D
When you "push" both grass patches together, thereby covering the pavement, the right zigzag edge of the left grass patch will fit in nicely with the left zigzag edge of the right grass patch. The final product is a grass patch measuring 27m by 20m since the 3-m-wide pavement has been covered.

Is it able to solve it by using model method as I do not understand the method above
So sorry

It is fine. Let me see how I can draw a model for this.
Total shaded area = Green area + Blue area
Green area = Area of large quadrant - Area of semi circle - Area of triangle
Blue Area = Area of circle - Area of semi circle - Area of triangle

1/4 × pi × 5^2 - 1/2 × 5 × 5
= 7.125 square cm

What is the radius for the quadrant?

Blue line = radius of quadrant = diameter of circle
