We need to print 1 set of worksheets so we need to find out what fraction of a set is printed by both machines.
Machine A prints 1/10 of a set per min.
Machine B prints 1/15 of a set per min.
So, what is the the amount printed in 1 min? 1/10 + 1/15 = 5/30 = 1/6 of a set.
1/6 of a set takes 1 min, then we can find how many minutes for 1 whole set.

Ok so 0.08 set per minute..... So how many minutes for 1 set?
Hi, Grace Ong. First, find the total cost of the 3 boxes. Second, find the total cost of the 12 boxes.
Those two steps will help you find the total cost of 15 boxes. :)

Ali has 6u stamps.
Bernard will hv 18 u stamps. (3 times more than Ali)
Ali gives 2u (1/3 of 6u) and Bernard gives 9u (1/2 of 18u) to Charlie. Now Charlie has doubled his stamps.
So 11u plus original = 308.
11u = 308/2 = 154
U = 14.
So altogether, 6u + 18u + 154 = 24u + 154 = 336+154 = 490
Corrected when winson siew spotted a mistake.

Ali to Bernad=1:3
after charlie received 1/3 of ali stamp and 1/2 of bernads stamp he had his stamps x2 became 308
1:3=3:9=6:18
C received 11u from A+B
so remainder of A:B=4:16
308-11u=154
11u=154
1u=14
14x24+154=490
Check:if 1u = 14
A=14x6=84
A=14x18=252
C=154
84 x 3=28
252/2=126
126+28+154=308
