Length of bigger square is 10cm Length of smaller square is 3 cm Area of bigger square is 100cm sqm Area of smaller square is 9sqm Shaded area will be 91 sqm.

Length can't be 10cm cos qn states that the length is 1 digit number.

Hi, MeiYee Leong. Here are two hints to solve this problem. Hint 1: compare the mass of the apple and banana, and the carrot and banana. How much heavier is the carrot than the apple? Hint 2: draw the model of the carrot and apple. You know how heavier the carrot is than the apple AND you have their total mass. So, once you solved hint 1 and hint 2, you will get the mass of the carrot. :)

Yup, you got the mass of the apple! (Y) Don't forget about the mass of the carrot. :) If you are feeling ambitious, you can find out how heavy the banana is. :)

18kg is for 3 days. So should be 18/3 = 6kg. Then 7 x 6kg = 42kg
