Hi, this is a p5 question. Can someone tell me if my solution is per what the kids are taught in school these days? It feels like I am still solving using the algebraic method halfway through.

Ask yr kid to covert to same units mean first give 1/3 = 4 units, then 3/5 = 8 units. So not much difficult to them
