Ppl : $ 7 : 8 1 adult + 1 child = $2.50 $8/2.5= 3 & 0.5 reminder So 3 adult & 3+1(reminder) Therefore 3 adult+4 children = 7 ppl Fraction = 3/7

I taught my boys 1st make eq that what q gave ratio Eg: 5 girls : 3 boys means 1 boy = 3/5 girl

2nd add or minus from (the girls) Eg: girl +3 : 3/5 girls + 5 7 : 5
