P6 Qn. May I know how to find the 2 diagonal lines in the rectangles other than pythogoras theorem? TIA

No need Pythagoras theorem. RY is the radius and is equal to XZ, hence equal to 5cm.

By Pythagoras theorem the missing sides of two triangles are 3 and 4 cm
We can observe that the areas of two triangles are same
Shaded area= area of semicircle- area of ∆s
= Π r square-2×1/2×3×4
