Using ratio, you will be able to find how much time is spent for each journey. A to B : B to A 6 : 4 3 : 2 X 2hours : 3hours 2h x 6km/h = 3h x 4km/h Hence, the distance is 12km.

a) 8 x 20 = 160m b) In order for train to pass the bridge completely, you need to add train length to bridge length. 920 + 160 = 1080 1080 / 24 = 45s
