The difference bewteen adults and children before 56 adults and 56 children left the hall was the same as the difference after they left. Before 5:7 = 15:21 Difference of 21-15 = 6 units After 7:13 Difference of 13-7=6 units So 15-7 or 21-13 yields 8 units 8 units = 56 1 unit = 7 Number of children at first = 21 × 7 - 84 = 63
