Since EJ = EF (sides of the squares), triangle EJF is isosceles and angle EFJ = (180-62)/2 = 59. Therefore angle EMF = 180 - 45 - 59 = 76

Initial Mike had 5 units + 60 Since the ratio of Keith to Mike is 2 : 5 Keith had 2 units + 24 Final Mike had 5 units Keith had 2 units + 24 + 40 = 2 units + 64 = 2 (1 unit + 32) Since the final ratio is 2:1 Mike would end up with 1 unit + 32 5 units = 1 unit + 32 1 unit = 8 5 units + 60 = 100

Hello Wahidah Khan. Your method is perfectly acceptable. The way I did mine is to remove elements like " 5 units - 60 " which primary school students may not be taught to equate in school. So I tweaked the model a little to remove that.
