The rectangle is actually 2 square. You are correct but the question is asking you for length & breath. So length is 7cmx2=14cm; breath is 7cm. Your mistake is on the last equation

But he did write the sentence that l = 14cm and b = 7cm. So why no points at all.

Where did he write the sentence cos it is not shown on the photo? I he did, then I am equally puzzled. Anyway, 7x2=14 is not the answer. He also need to make sure he write the CM next to his answer.
