Let the breadth of the rectangle be 2u and the length 3u. The perimeter is 2(2u+3u) = 10u. 10u=185, so u = 18.5 m. Therefore the breath is 2u=37 m and the length is 3u = 55.5 m. Therefore the area = 37 x 55.5 = 2053.5 m^2.

Ok. Step 1 to work out number of boys. (7+5)/(9-7) = 6. There are 6 boys. 6x7 plus 7 or 6x9 minus 5 Either way you will get 49
