Answer is : 190 pens Take number is student as x , here is the equation : 11x+25=(x-1)+8 So, X=12 So number of pen will be 15x11+25=190

hi Jason Oon, your multiply by 2 is it to answer to the 25% shaded, which is 1/4? if yes, i can understand why 4u-1u. but why 6u-1u?

Yes, multiply by 2 to make into 4u. (6u - 1u) is due to the overlapping, since the question mentioned unshaded area of triangle DEF is 95 cm2 and not the area of triangle DEF.
