After May-> 450+80->530 Natalie-> 560-80-> 480 May got $50 more... The QN state May got $30 ... Something wrong with the QN??

(Let S be sketchpad, P be pen.) Total cost of S = $210 Total cost of P = $184 Since there are 4 units of P to 1 unit of S, 1 unit of P = $184 ÷ 4 = $46 $210 - $46 = $164, 1 unit of S cost $164 more than 1 unit of P. $164 ÷ $8.20 = 20, There are 20 S in total. $210 ÷ 20 = $10.50, Each S cost $10.50 (ans)

Checking ans, $10.50 - $8.20 = $2.30 Cost of each P is $2.30 20 x 4 = 80, There are 80 P in total. 80 x $2.30 = $184

8 muffins xtra 1.25 12 muffins short 4.55 So, u add up both is 5.80 The diff is 4 muffins, so use 5.80/4 = 1.45 8 muffins = 1.45x8 = 11.6 11.60 + 1.25 (balance left) = 12.85
