94-24 = 70. 70÷5 = 14. I unit = 14. Left 3 units so 14 x3 = 42

the age gap is 36 years. When he is four times the son's age, the gap will still be 36 years. The difference between 4:1 is 3, which is the gap of 36 years. Hence, 1 unit is 12 years. 4 units is 48 years. 48-38 = 10 year's time.
