Initial ratio was 3:1. If 50 lorries left and cause the ratio to become 6:1, effectively the proportion of lorries have to shrink by half. Hence if 50 lorries is half of fhe initial number of lorries then number of lorries at first was 100.

To the parent, we always double check and work back. Then we will see the error in the question.

I ever attempted an exam question (long ago) but answer seems ridiculous. Heng i leave the workings there, still get full marks for that. Many ppl didnt attempt and leave blank. When teachers set question, they only direct u to derive a solution. But sometimes they forget to check back
