Thanks Adrian for yr clear n detailed explanation
Pls help, P6 math
But the ratio 4:3 was mass of the box n nails only. Screws not included. (a) 480g?
Serene Koon, the box has a mass of 480 grams is correct.
How about (b) 440g?
You know you are right :) good job.
picture amended.
the first part of the model should show the final ratio of 4:3:3 instead of 4: 1.5 : 1.5
Thanks Caleb Tey for yr detailed explanation, Xavier Sng n Pauline Vong Nyit Li for prompt clarification.
All in a day's work. Thank you Serene, Caleb and Pauline.
Excellent model as always, Caleb.
and super duper careless
We have all been there, and continue to do so. Please don't beat yourself over the head :)
I like Caleb Tey 's solution.. esp the part "since the box did not change ..make the box the LCM".. That's thinking out of the box...LOL..
Agree with Izam. Please keep up the good work, Caleb.
@Xaiver Sng will have to always vet my workings. Too careless.
Carelessness is part and parcel of life. I am sure we will all manage :) please point out my mistakes when you spot them too, so thank you in advance.
