How u get the 12.5%=1/8

Pauline Vong Nyit Li

12.5% is 12.5/100, move the decimal to the right hence 125/1000. 125/1000 is actually 1/8. Get your kid to remember this !

My girl had 1 question like this before but was 33.3% instead of 12.5%. 33.3% is actually 1/3.

Get your child to remember these :- 50% is 1/2, 33.3% is 1/3, 25% - 1/4, 20% - 1/5, 12.5% - 1/8, 75% - 3/4. He/she must know how to convert from % to fraction or vv.

After is 6u:3u:4u, before 3u:9u:4u-20. 16u-20 = 172. So u=12. (a) Y = 9x12 = 108. (b) z = 28, hence ratio of z to total = 28:172 = 7:43

Since O is the center of the circle, triangle ROS is an isosceles triangle. 180° - 50° = 130° 130° / 2 = 65° 180° - 25° - 50° = 105° x = 105° - 65° = 40°

I did not use vol calculation.

No need for volume calculation. 1. Calculate per 1cm of cylinder. 360ml / 16cm = 22.5 ml/cm 2. Calculate capacity of empty space in container. 22.5 ml/cm x 4cm = 90ml 3. Calculate total capacity of container. 360ml + 90ml = 450ml
