the ratio is 4:3

Regina Lim

Sorry but how do you get this ratio?

Winson Siew

sharon had only ran 3/4 of the distance

Winson Siew

And gerald had already completed it correct ?

Regina Lim

The answer key is 3:4

Winson Siew

than i do not know>_<

Winson Siew

i think it should be cuz they said "time taken"

Winson Siew

thats why the ans is 3:4 you agree?

Regina Lim

Yup that was what I thought but my child does not get it

Regina Lim

I thought there could be a better way to explain

Winson Siew

their asking for time taken

Regina Lim

Ok thanks Winson

Xavier Sng

The answer key is correct as Gerard would be taking 3/4 of the time that Sharon needed to complete the race.
