For (c), we would want to simplify the equation by changing the terms to non-fraction ones so that it is easier to solve. To do that, we an multiply both sides of the equation by 9 (LCM of 3 and 9). After multiplying by 9, we will have 3(3x-3)+(x+1)=0. From here, we can proceed to solve for x in the usual way.
