Hi, Carol. There are three phases to this question. First, find the mass of each of the ship with cargo.
Second, use their difference in mass to find the respective cargo mass.
Last, you will then deduct the cargo mass from their respective total mass to find the ship mass. :)

looking at triangle QUS, sum of angle of triangle is 180deg..
since angle UQS is alr 45deg, the other 2 remaining angles should add up to 135deg. hence angle QUS cannot be 135deg.

To answer this, first look at angle RUT which is 90deg
So QUT is QUR + RUT which is 45 + 90 = 135deg
We know QUS is more than 90 but less than QUT which is135, so the only possible answer is C

Is it as below 212-10= 202.. then 202+168 = 370.. then 370 รท5 = 74(1unit).. therefore Sandra 74x4=296

Hmm... I found a bit weird for this question. If Lisa used 10 and left with 202, then 1u shld be 202 since Lisa is 1 time and Sandra 4 times. And if 4u, then Sandra will have 808 which is more than the total of both of them initially.
Maybe someone can advise.
