A similar question to the one which i have posted earlier on. But in this question, both scenarios are in excess. The same line of thought: use the difference between the total divided by the difference between what each student receives.Love Math and Cheers!

5/7 of remainder ------> 105 1/7 of remainder ---> 105/5 =21 7/7 of remainder ---> 21 x 7 = 147 marbles at first ---> 147 + 105 = :)
