Hi, Elvira Ho. Here is a hint. price of 1 marker = price of 1 pen + $1.60 So, price of 3 markers = price of 3 pens + ($1.60 x 3) Since price of 3 markers = price of 7 pens as well, price of 3 pens + ($1.60 x 3) = price of 7 pens. :)

Hi, Elvira Ho. Here is a hint. The difference in the amounts between Kate and Cheryl will remain the same because they spent an EQUAL amount of money. So, use the difference (165 - 93) and the information '4 times as much money left as Cheryl' to find out how much Kate spent. :)
