A is 300 more than B, which is in turn 100 more than C
So 300 + 100 = 400

A=b +300
Change c+100= b
So c. =b-100
So a > c by 400

A = 300 + B
Since B = C + 100, substitute it in the above equation
A = 300 + C + 100
A - C = 300 + 100
= 400 (ans)

Hi, when 2 pupils are taken from the classes with 12 each, those pupils fill up the class of 6 to 10 (so 4 there) and created another class of 10.
So in all, 14 pupils were pulled from the previous classes of 12 each. How many classes do they come from?
Since each class gives 2, then 14/2 = 7 classes.
Answer: 7x12 + 6 = 90

4 that made the class of 6 become 10 and the additional class of 10.
4+10=14.
