Q26) 8 units difference= 5×8=40 8+6=14 14 units=180-40=140 1 unit= 140÷14=10 Q27) 1 square= 4 equal sides 1 side of a square= 8/9÷4=2/9 Area of square= 2/9×2/9=4/81

After 5% and 20% discount, selling prices are 95% and 80% of cost price. 95% - 80% = 15% Difference in selling price = $5000 + $1000 = $6000 15% —> $6000 1% —> $6000/15 = $400 100% —> $400 x 100 = $40,000 Cost price = $40,000
