all the squares have their edges are of 5cm*5cm. in the given shape, the total number of edges are 20. Hence perimeter will be 20*5=100cm.

Find the perimeter of the shape. Replace b with 5. Find the remaining unused wire.

1.5 m=150cm now the perimeter of the pentagon is 10b+40 cm. So 10b+40+x =150 b=5 so x= 150-90=60cm
