Eunice Chia..for pr3 guess/check ...its a must for at least 2 guesses to be wrong...that is what I learnt from my daughter's PR3 maths teacher.. Its also good to teach the kids the assumption method as shown by Shakilah Banu.. Thanks So there should be at least 3 guesses.. Just to share what I knew...

Is the word "alighted" typically used in Singapore? As, in England, most adults would need to google search the term to understand this question if they don't frequently use their logic.
