Need help on why the answer is $170. Thksl

Start: L 5 units; M 1 units After each gets $102: L 8 units (made up of 5u + 3u with 3u being the $102); and M has 4 units (made up of 1u + 3u with 3u being the $102) - Hence L has now 2x of M So $102 / 3 u = Each unit is $34 Since L had 5 units at first, the amount of money works out to $34 x 5 = $170

40x3 = 120 130-120 = 10 10books left after all the children borrowed 3books each. so, 10children could borrow 1 more book each. so, 10children borrowed 4books and the remaining 30children had 3books each.
