The difference in amount, which is $35, does not change because both girls spend the same amount. Thus, if Cally has twice that of Anne after spending, and the difference in their remaining amount is $35, Anne will have $35 and Cally, $70. Therefore, they will have $105 in the end. Subtract $105 from $165 and $200, the amount the girls have at the start, and you will find out their total spending, which is $260. Thus, each of them will spend half of $260, which is $130. :)

This question is not clear: are the 2 pairs of given coordinates the other 2 vertices? If so, which is the point where the two equal sides meet? If (0, -4) is the point where the 2 equal sides meet, then the locus of 3rd vertex is a circle with centre (0, -4) with radius which is the distance between (0, -4) and (5, -1), except (5, -1). Sketching a diagram will help visualise the problem and the locus.

This question requires the student to read tables of information. First thing is to break down the 4 pm to 10 pm into blocks the can be calculated using the table of info. Then work out how many hours for each category of rates, multiply by the rate per hour.
