Since there were an EQUAL number of sandwiches LEFT, we make the numerators of the LEFT fractions to be the same:) Note: The denominators represent the Total for the item. Left 3/8C= 1/3T 3/8C = 3/9T 8u+9u= 17u 17u= 102 1u= _____ 8u= _______ (ans-> chicken sandwiches at first) 9u= _________ (ans-> tuna sandwiches at first)
