a) Vol of water at 1st = 50×20×8 = 8000cm^3 Difference in rate = 1000cm^2 per min Hence, time needed for height to be the same = 8000/1000 = 8mims (ans) b) time need to fill tank B = 25×20×30 / 1500 = 10mins In 10 mins, amt of water flown into tank A = 500×10 = 5000cm^3 8000+5000 = 13000cm^3 = 13 litres (ans)
