2 intervals = 9.06m 1 interval = 4.53m 8 intervals = 36.24m(answer) The distance between 2 poles is considered 1 interval. Since between the 1st pole and 3rd pole there is a 2nd pole, that means there are 2 intervals. So between the 1st pole and the 9th pole, there would be 8 intervals.
