Do a listing of 7s+1, and a listing of 5s. The number that's common in both list is the age.

So is the answer 40yrs old?

Can't be 40 because there's no multiple of 7+1 that is 40. Which multiple of 7 ends with a 4 or 9?

Eg 14 is a multiple of 7. 14+1=15. 15 is also a multiple of 5. But 15 is not the answer because it's not between 20 and 60. So find another one.

This is one of the more challenging questions .... Here I use a ver y simple Model to find the total costs of the pairs of shoes and the total cost of all the bags. From this I can work towards finding the cost.
