Bee Yen, the method in the photo you posted is correct. The mistake is not showing that Grace has 3 times as much as Jody in the end. The model drawn showed only 2 times.

SG chevron_right Primary 4 chevron_right Number and Algebra

I was teaching my girl on this question so thought of sharing it with all. Modified from 2014 RGS P4 SA2 question 44Ribbon A and Ribbon B each consists of a blue and green part. Ribbon A is 70 cm shorter than Ribbon B. The green part is 24 cm longer than the blue part on Ribbon A. The blue part on Ribbon B is 18 cm longer than the blue part on Ribbon A. How much longer is the green part than the blue part on Ribbon B?

Is there a list of models and topics taught at different stages of primary education with an example of each?

I don't think so.

Any concept could come appear at any level, so it's hard to give a definite list of concepts that could be tested at any stage. It differs across schools. But by PSLE, students must be trained to have the necessary skills and knowledge to solve the math questions.
