Now: Mrs Chopra 5u; son 1u In 12 yrs: Mrs Chopra 6u; son 2u (hence the value of 1 unit is 12) So her age now is 60 (12 x 5u), son is 12. To check, in 12 years, she will be 72, son will be 24 (ie she is 3x older than her son)
